Course Aim:

To provide participants with knowledge, skills and attitude to support and maintain the Terma Scanter 2001 surface movement radar and the ERA airport area MLAT Radar equipment at system and module level.

The application of primary radar for airport surveillance, Describe the hardware and layout of the Scanter 2001 equipment, Operate and manage the Scanter 2001 RTCM system, Support and maintain the Scanter 2001 Transceiver assembly, Support and maintain the Scanter 2001 Transmitter assembly, Support and maintain Scanter 2001 Video and Signal processor, Introduction to MSS systems, Support and maintain the outdoor components of an ERA MSS.
